A little harsh

I think most of you are missing my points.

I was flying to cash in my bounties it was a 200ly trip to the empire. The game put gave me criminals that far away.

I let go of my trigger, my reactions are fine. There is a delay between releasing the trigger and beams stopping.

There is no mechanism to safely repay any fines. Outposts are the best bet, but the rapid escalation from something outside of the gamers control is not a rewarding experience.

I can afford the loss as I'm not fool in risking what I can't afford, doesn't mean it is fun or even vaguely sensible.

I can genuinely sympathise with the people having a tough time with the gamelan. I also sympathise with them when they post their grievance and suggestions to this forum just to be shot down by people who are 100% contented.

I have no problem with being fined for friendly fire, just the difficulty in paying is not on the same level as the ease of suicidal pilots (gamers skill doesn't come into it).

I have no problem with getting cresits that have to be cashed on the other side of populated space. It seems a little disproportionate in quantity and really, really boring having to take a few hours out to cash them.

This forum has already gone to pot since the beta. Any criticism or frustration is lambasted by die hards.

The game gave you criminals with multiple bounties. Some have racked up bounties in all 3 systems, it wouldn't make any sense to be able to cash it all in in one place.

You let go of your trigger but was not paying attention to the ship flying towards you on the scanner.

There is a mechanism to safely repay fines, it's called going to a system that you haven't attacked the security forces at. Completely in your control, you just failed to change to a system that wasn't controlled by the faction you just aggravated.

You can afford the loss which is sensible, it may not be fun for you but for me and many others it really adds to the game. You need to pay attention to your costs and adds very serious risks should you ignore it.

There is nothing wrong with making a suggestion that you think will improve the game. There is however a difference when people complain that it's entirely the games fault for their own silly mistakes. I have been playing since the Private Beta and I have only shot police craft on one occasion, Luck? Skill? who knows. I paid off my fine in a different system and continued playing.

Sorry, I don't understand what you are saying on this line.

It's the life of the bounty hunter. Ships with bounties aren't going to be hanging around in the same system to make your job easier. You want to cash the bounties you need to travel.

A lot of features have been changed which make the game easier, a lot of people are frustrated by it. More often than not it's the players fault for why they are complaining and usually the point of blame goes to the game rather than their own mistakes. This annoys people because the whole post comes across as just whining that everything is too hard and people get grumpy. If people remained calm and offered ideas on how they think the game could be improved, there would be more progress made reaching an understanding.

It's not a matter of lambasting you for you're frustration, it's a matter of not seeing the problem you're stating that ED has. The mechanics are fine.

You described that you had allot of vouchers for empire bounties. You stated that you took your time to go cash them in. You even went to find cargo to take with you to sell. On the way, you stopped to pick up more vouchers from USSs. All these things indicate 2 things, first, like many gamers, greed got the better off you, it's happened to me too. Second, you'd rather blame the game for your decisions, than take responsibility for your decisions.

The galaxy is a dangerous place, taking care and making good choices, leads to success, not making good choices leads to failure.

If doing anything illegal or you're wanted, unless you really know what you're doing ALWAYS stick to Outposts.

They have no security and you can always pay those fines off and clear the Wanted status.
I agree, you can't expect to be Wanted and they just let you waltz into their station past all the police without trying to stop you. It should only happen once at most :)

If you needed to dock at a cube station with 1. Illegal/Stolen goods and 2. A Wanted bounty status there what's the methods to get in guaranteed?
I've only tried it with Stolen cargo the once by going in fast and requesting docking just before I go in. It worked and no security scan.
I also played around with Silent Running whilst I am clean but I get scanned and heat builds so fast so then I tried cutting power to Shields but I still get scanned.
If I was scanned am I clear as soon as I get in just before the scan is completed?
What is the correct way to smuggle or sneak in as Wanted to pay it off besides going to an Outpost instead?
Does Flight Assist come into this with shutting systems off and a fast fly in without a boost?
