A little question

I'm really confused, there isn't a clear answer any where so I'll just ask it here.

I bought E : D Beta (£50) and I have people saying E : D Horizons will be free for me and others saying it wont, can someone please end this confusion <3

Thats kind of sad, I most probably wont play it now, a friend only wanted me to join them.

Though you can check by looking at the version number of your game.

If you go into your Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Products folder, the main game has a number beside it. That will tell you what version you own:

FORC-FDEV-D-1010 - Elite Dangerous - Standard Edition
FORC-FDEV-D-1008 - Elite Dangerous - Gamma
FORC-FDEV-D-1003 - Elite Dangerous - Mercenary Edition
FORC-FDEV-D-1002 - Elite Dangerous - Beta
FORC-FDEV-D-1001 - Elite Dangerous - Premium Beta
FORC-FDEV-D-1000 - Elite Dangerous - Alpha
