A little sad news. Rest in peace, commander.

The team at Hutton have received some sad news this evening. Unfortunately Tony Jobson, known to many here as Spike1986 lost his battle earlier in the month. His wife, Melanie, has left a note for the Elite community:

'Hello everyone. This is Tony's wife.
Sadly Tony passed away on the 2nd December and I would like to thank you all for making his days ad nights easier doing something he was really in to. He might have let you know he had terminal cancer but looked forward to joining you all around the galaxy.
Once again thanks for his hours of pleasure .

Yours Melanie'

A top Hutton Trucker, member of operation IDA, teamspeak lurker, mug recipient, regular wingman and good friend to many on here, he will be missed. It has been our pleasure to know him and enjoy sharing in his free time over the last year. Our condolences and love to his wife and family.

For my part, my last memory of hearing from him was when he was part of the team throwing things at the TUTeide event to make me wear that kilt on the hike and being part of the wonderful support we received. May he rest in peace. What an epic chap.

I will pass your messages on to his wife Melanie and hope she gains a little comfort from the love from this great community. It obviously meant a lot to him during his fight and it was our absolute honour to have had him as part of all of our fun.
