A Module Idea, A Weapon suggestion and a Question/Suggestion I would love to get an answer to.

Module idea:

"Canopy Armoured Plating".
Powered Module.
Fits in a Military compartment slot.
Has a charge ul time before it drops over Canopy and before it retracts.

Use: Acts as a Armoured shield in combat Soaking up damage before it ejects off of the canopy effectively giving you a means to keep your canopy from being shattered for longer in combat.

So the CMDR isnt blind the Plating has Cameras on the outside to project what is seen into the bridge so the CMDR isnt "flying blind".

Engineering similar to Hull reinforcement package.

Audio notification for Covas when Armour is "Ejecting" off of canopy once it takes too much damage.


Weapon Suggestion:

4A Railguns.

Please for the love of God add these to the game. I'm desperate to play with them.Understandable the Heat production would be insane as well as damage. Slowing down reload time to lower firing speed so players can cool down their ship between shots would be a useful tactic to make them viable.

And my question:

Is there any word on Battlecruisers being ownable in the future yet?

The thought of Purchasing a shell of a Farragut.

Buying a couple thousand materials needed to fix the ship as a whole. Different materials picked at random From the purchasable commodities list and materials list. Shipping them back to the Ship yard your "Shell of a ship is located".

Fixing it up as a solo experience or among friends.
A rating and engineering a Farragut and exploring the Galaxy in style is a dream of mine.

Having your friends be able to dock and fly with you across the galaxy.

And would be a great way to incorporate it into the game.

Bonus note:The idea of a Battlecruiser Fuel scooping a Star would be amazing!!

Looking forward to a response and maybe some good news/feedback on my suggestions.
