The other day by chance, I found out that CMDR "Akumler Tebrio" managed to get to the polar star, and scan it all.

I would like to know how it was possible.....

I wonder if it was an early exploration target before they locked it for story purposes.

I think the name plastered over that system is one of those used recently on a cheating spree involving spawned player controlled Interceptors and such. The name is a play on the by now banned leader of Spear. I think - not sure if it's that exact name. At least some forms of play on that name have been used by hackers before.

Unlike Col 70 and similar which weren't locked until the 2.1 release, Polaris was definitely permit-locked from the start (because the FFE story connection would have made it a day-1 visit otherwise)
