General / Off-Topic A new High Priced Game with Microtransactions

I was watching a Youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD0xHVA3eKQ " Top 10 WORST Games of 2016!" and the very first one the Youtuber showed "Eve: ValKyrie" is reportedly having microtransactions while playing in VR.

First, the youtuber says the VR is good.
Second, the youtuber states that the game costs $60, but is not worth it because you never get to finish the missions - they just fade out.
Third and worst is that in addition to that they have microtransactions that are actually right there in your face since it is VR.

I don't know about anybody else, but I for one would not want this game. What are your thoughts?

So in I was so excited about the game EVOLVE. I signed up to the apha and beta on the PS4. I loved the premise of it. 4 Vs 1 and enjoyed both alpha and beta.

I didn't get it on release but planned to get it a few weeks after. But I started hearing about how much of the game was locked out behind microtransaction pay walls even though the game was a full priced AAA game.

I didn't buy the game, and I'm glad I didn't. The game tanked and is now free to play. I still haven't played it since release.

There are much better ways to get a revenue stream from a game. Putting micro transactions from day one is a massive NO NO! I hope the industry sees large expansion packs as a possible route. Bigger content further apart and for slightly more money.
