Disclaimer: Hello everyone I'm Ray Nova, a 23 year old commander from Berlin, Germany and I have a project in mind that I would like to share with the community if the demand exists.
I fell in love with Elite: Dangerous on the spot when I flew the first demo missions in that sweet little Sidewinder. Of course I preordered and started playing istantly after release on the 16th December 2014.
Doing Bounty Hunting I came a long way with the Sidewinder, Eagle and currently that lovely Cobra MKIII. But a new chapter in my time as a commander is dawning with me soon being able to own a ASP Explorer and I thought mybe that will be the right time to start sharing my experience with everyone.
There allready are tons of youtubers out there giving everyone a good sense of what it is like to be a Elite player yet i feel a lot of them cut it down to 100% action. I want it to be uncut. Show that within every profession there are also times where one just sits there or flies around looking for a target or waits until that rock is stripped of all minerals/metals aso.
Now at first I think some sort of Diary or Blog will do fine. A daily or weekly entry with a summary of the events that took place Screenshots of exciting, funny or weird events and a list of profits and loss calculations. Of course I also want this to be interactive so followers or subscribers may give advice, ask questions, and request detours from my planned out path like taking a look at certain ships should I be able to afford them.
It will start at the point of the ASP Explorer purchase. I will start with the hull completely stock and work my way up with modules, weaponry and upgrades of other nature. So together you and me will go on an adventure to kit out the ASP as whatever we see fit, may that be a bounty hunter, trading or exploration vessel and maybe even some mixes of all three.
Eventualy if the support and again the demand of the community is at a certain point I would also try to integrate Videos into this project via Youtube. I think it is also wise to point out that I want to do this out of joy and not for profit. No matter how big this grows there will be no commercials anywhere!
So now its your turn. I have explained what I want to do. Is this something the Community would like or should I go back into my cave and keep my journey to myself?
