A noob biologist writes

I'm sure this is something everyone's had to deal with, but bear with me, all this is very new to me.

Did some exploring, looked for planets that might have plantlife, initially without success. But then - hurrah! - I find a planet with 7 biological signals. I drop down, and there's strata, bacteria and osseus everywhere.

Since then, though, I've been heading hither and thither about the planet, and keep finding those three things all over. Can't seem to find anything else.

Is there an art to this, or do I just keep zipping around at random?

Thanks.

Hm, just to be on the safe side, I'll ask: did you check the DSS view to see which species should be where?
In any case, if you did, and still have the same problem: usually the best way is to go look at different places. There's no need to go into geology and such, just fly to wherever looks markedly different than what you've checked so far.
