warthog
x52pro
roccat
siatek pro pedals.

im in the surrey area,, if anyone wants to try any of these devices i have ,
you are quite welcome to pm me, for more details of where i am , and arrange a visit ....

just a shame i don't have any low end devices , for anyone to try ,
you can sit here play elite , play with the settings etc , dose not matter to me
evenings after 6pm, but you WILL be kicked out by 9:30pm lolol weekends i would prefer morning visits...

but times and dates are subject to if i m not doing a charity show ....

Quality offer but I am a bit distant. I have a warthog too, about to finish my ED tracker, and have the Rift (dk1 stolen by the wife) but I have been wondering about pedals. So instead I have a question about those things..

I have had bad experiences with saitek software, do you need it (sst I assume) to run with those pedals, and also, will I need to get a fixed chair (as opposed to a wheelie, gaslift office chair).

Thanks

I have the pro combat pedals, no need to run any special software, just plug them in, the drivers that Windows finds will is all you need.
I also have a "wheelchair" and I find it works OK.
You can adjust the tension on the movement, I would like it to be a bit less than minimum though, but I haven't bothered with modifying it yet as it works pretty good as is.
I also have Warthog and TrackIR.

Edit: However, for ED I would think that a good twist stick is probably as good as pedals because of the relatively slow and insensitive yaw in the game.
It's different for flight sims where you have a larger range with the yaw and need the added accuracy of pedals compared to twist stick.
But together with the Warthog the combat pedals are great.

No Saitek software needed. Shows up quite happily without. I use a gas lift chair with wheels and have no problems. I seem to remember the pedals came with a big chunk of velcro also in case you have a very smooth floor.

How are you running Track IR with the Warthog. I have a conflict in that the Natural Point software sees the Joystick button 1 on the stick and also the Joystick button 1 on throttle as the same. I use that for view centring.

Very kind of you. A bit too far away to take you up on the offer but hopefully I'll get the chance to try a Rift one of these days.. :)

Thanks Guys, I'll consider getting a set over the use of my thumb hat on the warthog. it's ok for docking, but I thumble (get it?) a lot in combat.
