People come to the forum, don't look, don't search, and post a new thread. Ergo, your evacuating your bladder into the stiff breeze. Threads like this achieve nothing. They just add to the clutter. Forum fact of life.

I agree we don't need a bunch of post of false announcements from trolls, however this is where a community manager would help. These forums are some of the worse organized. Secondly its been 7hrs since servers went down and we haven't heard a peep from anyone about whats going on, how hard is it to give an eta, let us know you hit a hiccup, close to being done something. Silence isn't an option this day and age. Don't give me its a beta crap well aware its a beta and why its even more important for open communication on whats going on. This isn't the 80's, 90's its 2014 no dev/publisher practices this kind of silence anymore especially when unlike days of old where you paid or offered for free beta builds for testing, you are now selling it as a product and consumers have a right to know whats going on with the product they purchased. Especially for those buying beta package and can't even play the sp portion of the game and they have no clear announcement for whats going on, on the front page they should've updated the news saying you can buy the beta but servers are down for the update something. This epic silence is beyond amateurish if they don't have a community manager by god hire one.

There have been a few posts by Michael Brookes in the past couple of hours saying they are still working on a release tonight.

Thats just where he closed a post, last informative post he put out was at 2:50pmBST stating they said it be several hours and be out later this evening, evening has been here and gone. I'm not being ugly/mad, just simply stating they should have a community manager on top of these forums and giving us some info on whats going on with the update, a simple post saying "we hit a hiccup but we are working on it and hope to be nearing the end" would be better than this absolute silence. Silence leads to all these troll posts saying its out etc. Hard to troll when there is communication from the devs keeping us informed on status.

He has definitely said that they are working to release this evening... That was within the last hour... Give the guy a break for heaven's sake... Now go and watch something else for a while. Please.

Maybe, I don't need a community manager to tell me what's blatantly obvious though. They are working on it. It might come out tonight, it might not. With a title in development you can't expect anything. You really need them to pay someone to tell you that they are still working on it right now?

I am watching other stuff, i've done my work around the house watching a movie as i type, and no he hasn't as i've been following his posts. Also evening has been and gone unless they mean evening EST time. I'm not breaking his balls, as hes the producer shouldn't be his job to patrol the forums, thats why I said they need a community manager.

Yes, Yes!!! Thank you to everyone at FD for the over, over time, and hard work that has been put into getting Beta 1 set up today...and that was all day. And even on one's birthday. Happy Birthday!! :)

I suspect this reference does not travel well.

I really hope you're using in it a "He's working really hard to do something many thought was impossible" rather than "He's a prophylactic" or "He's a dangerous invader pretending to be something innocuous".... but I'm afraid the later two are much more common in certain parts of the world :D
