OK I don't usually do Conflict Zones, so this may be a dumb question. Why don't I get paid for every ship I kill? They are listed as enemy faction and hostile.

Did you pick a side at the start of the battle? Option to choose side should appear in the comms panel as you approach the CZ.

Yes I did choose a side. Sometimes I get an award last night I had three cutters and nothing

Good question. The only example I can recall with certainty, of not getting awarded a combat bond for a kill, is when I'm engaging a target that a capital ship is also firing upon. Not sure what the exact criteria is for getting credit. But sometimes although I've done what seems to be a significant amount of the damage - no bond.

If you didn't hit the ship in the last 10 seconds or so before it is destroyed you don't win the Bond, if there is a capitol ship shooting at the target that time might be lower and if there is another player shooting then you need to land the last shot.

Hmm, not necessarily doubting this but - from my recollection, in such a scenario, there doesn't seem to be any significant lapse of time to speak of. Though TBH, maybe I'm just missing some other factor.

There is also a nebulous "must do a significant amount of damage" criteria in CZs.
