Newcomer / Intro A question about space station interiors.

Hi all,

I have a quick (and probably silly) question about the interiors of space stations, in light of the Leonard Nemoy memorial station post today, I have noticed that the interior of that station is a lot different to the ones I have encountered, them being grey metal with yellow docking numbers and his station being vibrant with flora and red docking numbers, is this because of the type of station? Or has it to do with the trade they offer? (i.e industrial etc)

I know I could go off and fly to one, but I am at work and my curiosity is insatiable

Thanks!

Mark

Anarchy stations are usually a bit rusty with a few dead lights. I think very affluent systems can contain those "posh" stations as there are 2 in Sol.

I'm curious aswell. I was pretty suprised to find the Russian spacestation in SOL (Gorbatsjev?) quite different from all the other dockingstations so far. Instead of the grey/darkish interior, it looked yellow/pinkisch with palm tree's and everything. Did not do any research into this, so i hope somebody will answer your question!

Cheers,

Mark (2nd ;) )

Thanks guys! Be interested to see what people have discovered. I have been flying around for roughly 40 hours and have never come across any other colour! But thinking about it, trading mainly between anarchic systems, they do seem rather dim and dingy inside.

Hopefully it will be a surprise like when you find your first planet with an asteroid belt and gently cruise into it :)

It's a very wealthy station. Such stations seem pretty rare to me so far, but there are a few of them around. Notably, in Sol (as already pointed out) and Achenar.
