UC on a carrier works just like at a station except there is a 25% surcharge. 12.5% of that goes to the carrier owner. The rest is lost.

My question is not about selling exploration data to UC but about buying system planetary bodies/stations etc. data for systems I didn't visit yet.

Yes.

Edit: I don't know if you even need UC - the fact you are docked within the buy range is enough I think. Allows you to buy (some) permit systems info without the permit.

Oh I see. The FC makes no difference in that case. You can still buy system data if you're close enough (less than 20LY roughly).
