A question fo anyone with good ears

I tried something daft with the FSS and cannot make up my mind if it works or not.

Tried listening to objects far away (ie. not in the system... such as the galactic plane).
Sometimes I think there is something there and sometimes I think its just looping noise as I move the scanner.
I suspect it is wishful thinking on my part (imagine the possibilities if you could) but my hearing is not perfect by any means.

I gave it a go aiming into dark space with the FSS and can't say I heard more than static. Have you been out in the black for a while, or perhaps been hauling onionhead?

I don't know about FSS, but you can hear things in normal space. Strange things. And galactic core, calling...
