A question for those who use SteamVR.

There is a utility, - https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/908520/view/3048352331836413353 that displays information about the number of frames in the corner of the screen.

The question is: does this utility work in VR mode when playing Elite Dangerous in a helmet, or does it not support working in VR?

Yes, it provides a small information tab that provides all sorts of information about your fps and general power usage.

It’s very useful for optimising your set up and works in lots of games. Easy to use too.

I doubt you’ll get anyone say it isn’t worth the small amount that it costs on Steam.

Just to specifically answer the in-game part….

mine sits in my ‘virtual’ lap, so it’s not in the way during general gameplay but is easy to view.

Great! I bought. Installed it. Works in VR mode in the HP Reverb G2 helmet and in the Elite Dangerous game. It doesn't interfere with the game. It is located at the bottom between the legs.

I love fpsVR!

I keep it on my right Index controller always, and so when I play EliteD I turn that controller on and place it on my desk upside-down in front of me to the left. Now I have a stats window in my cockpit floating in front of and to the left of my radar -- it's great.
