A question of outside bubble

Hey all

I was wondering about the systems outside the bubble and would really appreciate your input. I'm soon to go off into the wilderness and explore the galaxy and I've been wondering if I will find any habited systems out there? Part of me thinks that I will not because the bubble represents all known systems, but then again there's an entire galaxy out there of which so much is unexplored. So is there the possibility of finding populated worlds?

What say you good peeps?

Thank you :D

there are a couple of habitated systems outside the bubble like sothis, aditi or robigo but other than that there's nothing. just you and the vastness of space.

To date, to the best of our knowledge, you won't find any human inhabited planets outside the bubble and it's immediate(400-500ly) area. And I say it that way because there are systems out there in the galaxy we can't enter, permits required, some clear across the galaxy on the other side of the Core from Sol, so odds are, they DO exist, we just can't visit them yet.

You will find some small signs of humanity's presence in space out to around 4k LY out on occasion, salvageable wreckage, and I've seen the remains of a wrecked ship on a planet, but I'm still within that 4k LY limit, barely 2k LY out after almost 2 weeks of travel. I'm one of those who scans everything and loves to land on anything that I can, it can take me days to travel 100 LY due to that, but I'm a nutjob and know it ;)

Some claim that they have seen city lights on dark side of earth like world far away outside the bubble. Some people claim that they have seen high/low wakes in the dark. Some have faced scans middle of no where.

Beyond the Frontier of the Bubble itself, there are 18 known inhabited systems, out in the blackness of space and surrounded by empty uninhabited stars and not much else. You can find a list of them in this recent thread and in my older thread. These 18 systems can all be found within a "Greater Bubble" 500 LY radius from Sol.

No-one's ever reported finding anything further out that that. And if there was anything to find, I think people would have found them by now.

There are, of course, the permit-locked sectors, But if there's anything to find in those, in terms of alien civilizations, lost colonies or such like, then we won't know until the sectors are unlocked and we're allowed in to look around.

If you'd like to see more human colonies flung out into the middle of nowhere, the consider joining the Pioneers Cooperative efforts to do so. They've received a Definite Maybe from the devs that their aims might be supported.
