A rated Cobra MK3 Energy Starved after 1.1

Shield Cells Banks, by any chance?

I had 1 i think i tried turning it off and still over the limit, i will try un-mounting it after patch. I quess 1 is too many for a A rated Cobra with 2 low energy projectile weapons now...

I did test the Adder it has no issue maybe i will just use that to do the combat missions...

use the manual inflation for your co-pilot to reserve energy.
 
It is the Shield Cells, I had the same issue. The funny part is that I was avoiding Shield Cells before.
Then I decided to give them a try, never got to use them and now I had to remove them.
I don't even know how they sound or look in the game haha.
The good part is I'm not going to miss them, and I still can go bounty hunting with rail guns.

Same happened to my Viper (albeit not A-grade); I deployed the big guns and turned into an instant ice-cube. Quickly switched off my Wake Scanner to compensate but will be upgrading my Plant and downgrading my SCB when I get on tonight :)

I have one shield cell, two beams and two multicannons. Total 104% now, it can be handled with module priority.
 
What you can do is to assign low priority to:
- FSD: you don't need it while weapons are deployed
- Fuel scoop: same
- Cargo Hatch: I think you will just lose the possibility to jettison while weapons are deployed

What would be nice is a way to assign power groups as well as fire groups. Or in fire groups, besides 1 and 2, have a "off" setting where the device does not consume power. This would allow to depower the Kill Warrant & cargo scanners, etc... maybe suffering a "warm up / deployment" time when activating them before they become operational when switching fire groups.
 
I thought module priority just determines who gets recharged first not over the limit. The lowest item would just shut off i think.

Yes, that's the point: lowest priority modules (the ones useless in combat) are turned off when you deploy hardpoints and power demand increases. You can't use FSD with hardpoints deployed, so why waste power on it?
 
If you want to keep the SCBs you can. However, you will need to sacrafice some A rated equipment. Do you really need an A rated shield? I bet you can still be pretty deadly with a B or C (especially if you have SCBs).

A class sensors? dump them and mount D...in a fighter, you don't need more than that
A class life support? unless your really enjoy fighting without your HUD, you don't need 25min in most situations.
A class thrusters? Depending on how much weight you have, you might not need A class...and may be able to do just fine with a lower class

It forces balances...there is no such thing as an uber load out. There is YOUR loadout that works for how you fly and play.

It used to be a good bounty hunter, but now you can't kit it out properly because as soon as you deploy weapons it shuts down.
I had mine kitted out quite nicely thank you, before the update, I left it as it was whilst I played in the Beta, when I came back to it after the update and deployed weapons, every thing shut down. I had to run for it and head for the nearest station and re kit it out so that it could at least go into combat.

Now I'm down to 2 Pulse lasers and 2 Multi cannons, yes I have a shield cell but I had to sacrifice another module to get that to work.

To be fair, a 4% overspill isn't too bad at all.

My Viper is currently at 114% and with module management, I can 'Just about' get it running. It's impossible to run my previous setup though, and that only had a single SCB in it.

It just looks so pretty in the outfitting screen to scroll down a continuous list of "A"s.

Welcome to the Python nerf club guys :p... This is just why I love this update- not only the Python gets its - deserved- downgrade but every one has to cope with it... Well done FD- and no not sarcasm :p
