I couldn't give you a break down of all their inventory, but I was there recently and found that if I traveled between the three stations, they had a lot of A and D rated modules, just not at the same place. There seems to be a fourth station under construction, Piccard's Folly, or something like that, but you can't land at it yet so I don't know what's up with that.
It still seems a bit barren to me, but I haven't been to every system yet.

EDDB seems to be pretty up to date if you're looking for a specific module.
I keep looking at my stored modules back in the bubble and the stored ships, but so far the time and cr spent doesn't seem worth it. I was able to find Passenger Cabins and put them in local storage in case they start to disappear from station inventories, so I guess I have everything I need out here for now.

You can see from that example, there isn't a single 4A power plant outside the bubble.
If you have the cash to tie up in module inventory, you can buy modules and store them before you leave, then have them shipped to Colonia after you arrive.
Or you can pre-build the ship you want and have the whole ship transferred out. That can get expensive though.
I took my Anadonda to Colonia to make the trip faster and then transferred my Courier out so I has something small and fast to fly around in.
