Welcome CMDR's,

Sorry to say this but I am unable to carry out the 'Forum ship of the year' competition this year as I've had a medical issue to get over. If someone else would like to do it then please go ahead and have a blast. I will try to get a fun thread up before Christmas but no promises.

Also, as some of you may remember I was training to enter a marathon... Needless to say I can no longer do this either according to my Dr. who has advised me against it unless I want to re-visit the hospital in the near future, which I do not!

I'll stop by as and when I can but please keep up the great work smacking the Thargoids and don't let the mods have any rest... They deserve non.

And sorry about the drunken post the other week... Blame Tj ;)

Not too serious I hope...ye know if ye got issues getting the general to stand to attention, the doc can give ye a tablet to help...otherwise theres a whole host of dodgy websites offering them if ye wanna live dangerously and ye have a boring doc who does everything by the book.

Anyeway...whoever has the most votes, I vote fer the other guy just to be awkward. Yer way too familiar with the mods fer me to volunteer...I wouldnt make it halfway through without a ban of some description...and Im still sore at them fer the last one which I never appealed cos theres no point. I used to think ye were a mod actually...cant explain why just a feeling, like spidey sense. Dont bother denying btw cos even were it true, ye would still deny it anyway so I guess there will always be that doubt...I used to be a mod so I know how it works on forums.

Anyway m8 get better soon and hope ye get the tablets sorted before yer missus gets impatient ^

Excellent news...place aint been the same without ye...now get back to doing what ye do best :p

Me and my daughter dont celebrate xmas...reasons...so I get to be all bah humbug and the grinch all rolled into one big doobie ^

Neither do I. Won't get into the reasoning either. Probably too close to "politics". Which is fair in my opinion.

Reasons are quite simple in this house...child lost her mum to cancer when she was 6 years old so the whole 'family together' vibe rings a hollow note fer us. Its worse for her because if we go to relatives, they always bring out the photo albums and end up interogating her to see how much she remembers. Few years ago it depressed her so much, she began self harming...so we stopped making any effort at xmas as a consequence ^

I'd take over, but unless your competition of the year was either a) related to PvP, b) related to blue cartoon aliens, or c) an assessment of this forum's finest insults, I probably wouldn't be taken so well. To hell with getting banned halfway through the thread by a mod - I suspect no more than a couple of posts in, various members of the community will have arranged a forum coup, and overthrown Brett with the sole purpose of having every word in my post replaced with "turd".
