That Video was Interesting....
I just want to know if that's a common practice?
Docking at close to full speed while doing a 360 with the flight-assist turned off.
Do many people do that?
Do many people try?
So I tried while leaving Azeban-City and was surprised at my success.
I wasn't going quite as fast though and I couldn't climb faster enough to completely turn around with the flight - assist off.
I then realised I had my landing gear extended the whole time and corrected that.
Yet, not before I had near fatally crashed trying to do the same thing re-entering the letterbox slot.
I did repeat this a second and third and forth time. Succeeding in a re-entry only once.
I love the effect of spinning back around to face the exit of the station after zooming inside un-assisted.
It's the equivalent of a burnout.
Not sure about the music, though.
It's from Rocky....and hardly immersive.
I will put my attempts on video later.

Inspired by these vids I have been practicing the cold FAO run into dock.
The main difficulty is lining yourself up right.... and not getting your fingers all confused ... and, forgetting to request docking... and not remembering to turn flight assist back on..... and not remembering to turn engines back on.... and of course bumping into the NPC idiots dawdling in the box. Other than that its quite easy.... on the 10th attempt
Good fun and now I feel confident to actually try it with illicit cargo.
