I like it when the dinosaurs attempt to escape, as I tend to play with the fussy trait enabled to make the comfort threshold small that dinosaurs would get uncomfortable when a storm arrives. This works great for the most part, but I notice that some maps would bring about storms that would agitate my dinosaurs more than others. Maps like Germany would barely bring such heavy storms that would cause such a reaction from my dinosaurs.
I think what could work is to have it so we could have a sandbox setting where we could modify how much our dinosaurs get agitated by storms. This could be set to low, the default medium, or high that would double the effect. I also think having an additional "Instant" option would be suitable, which would cause all uncomfortable storms to set a dinosaur's comfort to 0%, really turning park planning and layouts to focus more on securing the guests and containing these animals whenever a storm hits.
