Today, as I was supercruising through some systems (can't remember the location) something caught my eye. A small thing, easily missed when not paying attention... But it was big enough for me to say "Hey, wow!".
I am talking about the orbital paths of the stations (perhaps planets as well). You know, those yellow lines you see in supercruise, showing the orbital path of the object... As I was approaching my destination, enjoying the view of the planet, my eye caught this small little thing... The orbital path disappears behind the planet! It's no longer a full, elliptical shape, but it actually shows what's in front of the planet and what's behind.
Most people would say "meh, no big deal, that's what we wanted". Ofcourse, that's the thing many of us have asked for, "make those lines disappear behind the planets, dammit!!". And now, they have.
This thing showed me that the developers are actually listening, taking things into account and use our feedback and suggestions. It showed me the amount of dedication the development team has, putting hours and hours into a product for all of us to enjoy, improving it with every step of the way while listening to us. And that was more than enough for me to say "Wow!".
And for that, I wish to thank the development team for their hard work, dedication, understanding and effort. You rock, guys (and gals)!
Cheers,
Coilbone
