While nowhere near as cool as the one in the OP, I found another impossible collision last night--this one with a ringed gas giant's nearest moon being
inside the outermost ring.
Despite the illusion in this shot, it actually cuts straight through the middle of the moon. It's just that the distance ring effect probably wasn't intended to be clipped by anything, so there's no occlusion effect.
Plot twist: it looks REALLY messed up when you get inside the masslock radius of both the ring and the planet.
Nonetheless, at least I got some cool shots out of it.
