I was doing some run-around's, bounty hunting, delivery and trading missions for Alioth Independents at 78 Ursae Majoris system to get the Alioth permit. As I went into supercruise, I saw a 'Wanted' commander flying an Anaconda. I don't recall his name, but the story began when he sent me a communications message:
Stranger: "don't fight the interdiction, i'm not going to harm you"
I get a little surprised, slow down and let him interdict me, I give him a message back.
Me: "ok? go ahead then"
I am interdicted and I submit it. I am pulled out of supercruise at a slow-enough speed that I don't receive damage. I stop, face him and make no movement.
Me: "Yes?"
Stranger: "Commander,"
Stranger: "You don't know me, but I know you. You are out here trying to get an Alioth permit. Iv'e been looking for people like you, and have been watching you, you may have seen me in many other types of ships. I'm going to give you a classified mission, do not ask why you are getting it."
Stranger: "As long as you have a cargo capacity at 17 or more, I will give you 10 canisters of purchased Narcotics, and 7 canisters of stolen Trade Data, you will deliver them to the black market of Lave Station. Should you refuse this mission and you will be shot down by my rail guns. It's ok if you are caught or somehow fail the mission, as long as you don't abandon or refuse it."
Me: "Alright? Very well, I will go with this, then."
Stranger: "Good, scoop this cargo I will now jettison and get out of here. Good luck."
I scoop up the cargo and charge the frameshift drive, and notice one last word coming from the comms tab: "French."
What was that all about?
