Was it anyone you killed? As a bounty hunter or Pirate?
There are wedding barges too; I'm never sure if they are just filler (in which case, if someone cared enough, why are there no decent missions), or, maybe we're meant to do something when we see them - all I can think of is to attack them though, which seems lame, so I used to just leave.
Never found wanted one. They're just a myth.
That's because the truth isn't as funny.
It may actually have been a very frustrated Commander looking for a seemingly non-existent black box took out his frustrations on a unsuspecting wedding party - possibly with beam lasers...
Still the worst honey moon ever.

I once had a funny encounter with a wedding party like this.
I was 'hostile' status to the local faction, and when I dropped into the USS, the barge and it's escorts were red on my scanner.
All the escorts immediately peeled off and started to attack me, with no provocation from me...I didn't even have hardpoints deployed!
The main problem was, I was flying my Cobra, and the escorts were 6 T6s...
I haven't laughed so much in ages, as I blew them all away, one by one
And the beauty of it was, because they attacked me first, I got a 400cr bounty for each one and no fines myself
Oh, in case you're wondering the T9 barge took no part in the carnage, so I let it be.
Didn't want to completely ruin the wedding

I remember coming up behind a wedding procession tootling along in a section of national speed limit once IRL when out in the Caterham. After a few seconds, and on a lovely clear piece of road, I thought I'd do a fly-by. Took my cap off my head with one hand, held it at chest level and went past rather noisily, with a nod to the procession as I went. Should I ever go to visit the ship graveyard in the sky, I've got standing instructions to be taken there in something noisy and for the funeral car to leave tyremarks on setting off.
That aside... A Type 9? I thought the Type 6 was the coffin of choice judging by all the "I was trading without shields and got blown to smithereens and lost all of my money and I hate everyone" threads?
