I'd love to see a telescope as a module to be installed. I can't make myself visit all kinds of planets in systems I travel through but I know there are interesting sights I'm missing. If there was a tool like a telescope I'd use it to know what to expect at the target destination. Oh, it should hold the info of the frame shift drive (orbits etc.).
