A thank you to Frontier and a question...

My wife and I bought this game for my 10 almost 11 year old daughter who wants to be a paleontologist. Anything with Dino's are a win for her. I also play Elite but that is beside the point... The game itself brings a lot of movie/book nostalgia from seeing the movie when it came out while I was in high school. lol... All in all, it's a great little game... My daughter loves the views in game such as the the Jeeps, on top of the hotel, gyrospheres, and the monorail. Not to mention the cameras, and just going to ground level or clicking on the dinos themselves. My real question is will this game continue to be developed and things added over time?

I think my "dad" wish list would be things like new attractions like a prehistoric aquarium or a smaller dino houses/pins like the Compsognathus. Perhaps it could be like a rainforest with a rocky streams or something. I don't know... Bigger areas to build in, let us make an EPIC park! We need water Dino's like the Mosasaurus, or Plesiosaur with the ability to build the colosseum around one side of a lake or something. Such as the movie had... We NEED the electric car path from the first movie, seriously... lol... But that would work best IMO with a large building area, but I would still take it now... haha

I just hope this continues to have more additions made for it as we are enjoying it for sure! I've just always been a bit hesitant over "movie" games...

Anywho, thanks for the great daddy daughter time with the game! We are only on the 3rd Island and still have a lot of Dino's to unlock at 50 hours in game already according to steam! hahaha

My daughter has renamed our T-Rex to our little Grumpysaurus Rex... lol...

Nice photos. :)

I think I can put your mind at ease regarding the updates. The game is over 6 months old and it already received a couple of substantial updates of mechanics and content and Fdev said on multiple occasions that their plan is to keep the game alive and growing for as long as possible. :)

Regarding the Aquatic dinosaurs like MOSASORUS, etc , it is still a long way ahead, non the way there will be many land dinosaurs added along with new updates.

Great pics ! So glad for your daughter and her passion for dinos & bones [heart] ! I once also was a Paleo-kid fesh from 1997's Lost World release ! Jurassic Park the first was my first ever memory of a film (on TV) and then Lost World is my first memory of a theatrical experience, it left its print quiet heavily xD

I sooooo miss the railway car-tour too ! Dammit, I can't imagine my park without it ! It still feel so weird not having it [where is it]
The gyrospheres are a bit wonky to drive&watch from I find, a shame when the ranger team is such a joy to ride ! :D Nothing can replace an inside view from JP red stripped car [big grin]

As the game will receive a bit of love for some time I really hope they add some kind of Jurassic Park Classic assets DLC (with original raptor & Trex mdoels) & rework some dino interactions (climbing fences & being able to get your rangers killed or dinos escaping as you pass through a open door with ur ranger) !
I LOVE your prefab Compys enclosure idea !!

If you want you can catch a glimpse of the advancing progress made on the modding part, where they already unlocked building on ALL the size of the map ! And some cool skins stuff (but nothing is released yet I believe):

All the best to you & ur daughter !
