A Theory on the 2.2 Update

Vulture?!??
I don't think a Vulture will be able to carry fighters. It is much too small.
I dont know why but I just started to laugh at the idea of a vulture droping another vulture. of course thats not what anyone said but the notion just came to me and its amazing.
A condor might not fit but event hat would be overkill given how good a vulture is
 
I don't think so. I thought it had to be a large-hulled ship... but then again, the Keelback is medium-hulled isn't it? And I could've sworn that gets a fighter.

I thought so too.
Seems so pointless to me.
What would you protect if you carry a fighter in Keelback.
There will hardly be any room left for valuable cargo.
And the Keelback as well as the fighter it carries will both be evaporated within seconds in a serious fight.
So why would you ever want to carry a single fragile and useless fighter into combat in a fragile and useless Keelback.
I just seem to be missing the point.
Is there a point?

Yes, carrying a fighter in a Vulture would only weaken the Vulture, because you would waste valuable internal space to be able to carry a very weak fighter that will be destroyed in mere seconds anyway.
You would end up with a useless Vulture as far as serious combat is concerned and a useless weak fighter as far as serious combat is concerned.
You would just end up paying double insurance.

FD must be planning some serious changes to the small fighters to make them more useful than just a way of destroying credits.
