Engineers A thought... An alternative to "Favors" to achieve specific special effects on weapons.

The thought is simple. Very simple. Instead of implementing favors, or in addition to.. Make it so that if we upgrade a weapon with a special effect to a higher grade of the same modification it guarantees the same modification will carry over to the upgraded version. If no special effect exists, then allow one to roll as normal.

The thought process I have here is that the low level weapon modifications are easy to grind out and roll, and roll, and roll over and over again to get what you want. But it still takes effort to do so.

If I get a modification I want on a Grade 1 modification, when I upgrade that weapon to Grade 2, I want to take that special effect to the next tier and just upgrade the weapon itself.

This creates a couple of choices:
- You can take the upgraded mod for better stats.
- You can discard the upgrade and reroll again/the next time you have the supplies to try and get better stats.

Either way you keep your existing special effect, but if you upgrade from grade one to grade two then re-roll another grade 2 on the same weapon, it has an entirely new chance for a special effect.

This would enable you to keep weapons you've already obtained and upgrade them while still retaining the originally intended mechanics and randomness.

If we got this with favors I think the RNG would be plenty balanced.
