A Tribute to Core Dynamics - My Journey to Crab Nebula

Just a quick update - I skipped WP8, I'm at WP9.

WP10 - I made it!

Here I am... inside Crab Nebula itself! :D

Last few jumps weren't much of a challenge I had originally thought. Route plotter worked just fine, without even failing once.
I'm sure I have traveled more than 10,000 LYs so far on this trip. That is, including one quick return journey from WP3 to Obsidian Orbital.
I don't usually get a chance to hang around with other CMDRs, so I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity.

Found a lot of rare materials at Crab Stadium. Exactly 5 Polonium and some Niobium. Man I lucked out!

I will soon start heading back at my own pace. Enjoy the rest of the expedition CMDRs!

Back.

Recent news of "Unknown Probe" has got me both curious and cautious, so I set my course to Sol. I felt like I should get back as soon as possible, but... maybe I am just being paranoid here.

As I get closer to civilized space, I can see Barnard's Loop getting much bigger in my view. It really reminds me that there are many nebulae rounded up near the Loop.

Back in civilization. It's been only a few days, but I am already missing the "taste" of exploration. Traveling in "Brimstone" was quite an experience. Just me, my ship, and massive planets to explore. I love the simplicity of it.

For my next short exploration trip, I am thinking of picking Courier or Viper IV.
And I already have some candidates as to where I would go: Veil Nebula, NGC 1333 Nebula with a star system mysteriously named "Emily", or a huge cluster of 500+ M-class stars I found on my way back.

Looks like there's a whole lot more to see in this galaxy, and I can't wait to go out in the black again.
