A two hour journey of Nebula-hopping

Last night, I decided to do a short trek around the local space. My first stop was Polaris, and I discovered (though the knowledge was out there already) that Polaris is closed to people, you need a permit to enter.
This won't stop me, but that's for another day. Specifically next week. I'm willing to spend an entire day flying in SuperCruise to be the only person to get to Polaris.
After flying around in the systems adjacent to Polaris, I decided to head to LBN 623, a nearby Nebula.
It was at this time people started observing my journey (via steam stream, I keep my gaming open to critique) and I came across quite a few pretty sights.
One such sight is now my Desktop Wallpaper because I love it that much.

The star is beautiful. And yes, I was in a ViperMK4.
Moving on from LBN 623, I headed to the Pleiades Nebula.
THERE'S A INHABITED SYSTEM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NEBULA.
Upon reaching this system, named Maia, I stopped my journey and cashed in the million credits I'd earned from exploring.
Here's the other sights I found.

In order; two stars I came across that were pretty looking, Maia's System Map and the station I docked in.
Now I have to update all my info because I ranked up.

In the mean time, I'm heading back to Cubeo.
Maia sells gold really cheap by the way. 1000 under the Galactic average.
No buyers means low price I guess.

Someone tested flying from a nearby star in supercruise (not to Polaris specifically) -- the destination system never loads in, so you can't actually bypass permit locks that way.

Super cruise to a system doesn't work. People have already made it to Polaris with very little fuel left and no star to scoop from. The system will not load without a jump because jumps act as loading screens.

If there was "another way", somebody would have done it by now (then it'd be quickly patched by Frontier). You'll just have to wait until Frontier make the system and release it.
