Elite / Frontier a very strange thing...

Guys,

I got a picture with something realy strange yesterday: A Spar attack fighter fitted with a Class 4 Military Drive.

Did anybody see something like that?

Could someone host and post the .jpg in this thread?

If you're referring to another ship rather than your own, then that's a first for me. I'm pretty sure it's achievable through illicit means, however. I seem to recall the "Buffet" cheat program for the various window-version hacked executables for FFE allows you to edit the other ships in the same system as you.

If the ship is your own, then it's very easy to do using Buffet or any number of other tricks including the various "Shipmod" executables or simply save game editing.

The final possibility, with the ship being for sale in the shipyard, then I haven't a clue on how that would happen. The only possibility I can imagine this happening is a player selling a modded ship with a class 4 military drive to the shipyard, and for the shipyard to stick it back up for sale "as-is".

It was another ship whom attacked me, but it did not opened fire. Just flew around me until I opened fire and destroyed it.

I play FFE D3D and I didn't cheated it...

I took a printscreen of the "encounter"

It's ok. I'm not upset.

I wrote I didn't cheated it just to make this information clear.

It was a bug, and I think it was estrange, and funny!
