Just returning from a round trip to Altair area after some rare trading and was welcomed by Lave's newest greeter CMDR

Had a very similar experience about a week ago upon approaching Lave with a belly full of Rare's, not with the same CMDR.

As soon as I got out of Super Cruise whilst slowing down got my ar$e handed to me on a plate, couldn't work out what the hell was going on to begin with. As soon as realised I managed to deploy hard points he rammed me and that was the end of that. Not best pleased!

I don't know who that was in the dumbfire eagle that actually killed you but you could clearly see he had hardpoints deployed during your approach.

No, whoever he was started shooting at me, the Station then instantly responded and killed him. My best guess is he buys a cheap ship, fits the dumbfires and sits waiting for traders and then ruins their day.

look at the scanner the Adder is below you, and the ship shooting you was above, also the shape was not an Adder not sure what it was tried freezing it. As soon as my good lady wife has finished the weekly soap round up i'll put it on the tv and have another look frame by frame as although increased size = increased distortion it may give you an idea of who to hate :)

Either way sucks like a 10 day old lemon :)

Nah, the CMDR he was targeting (and we aren't supposed to be naming) was inside the station. His attacker was clearly just hanging out around the docking port in a disposable ship looking for victims.

It was an Eagle. It was just upside-down relative to the viewer.

Pretty much the de-facto standard disposable missile spam ship.
