A watch for DBOBE, and any other Elite fans sufficiently minted.

Woooooooaaaaahhhhhhhhh!

Just need to sell all my organs and my childrens organs and their childrens organs to get that!

If someone said they couldn't read the time I would probably forgive them if they had this watch. Its butt ugly too. Great name for it cause its looks spaceagy and you will feel robbed after you purchased it.

This and if not then probably 5 minutes after you leave the shop and some sees it on your wrist (though in London at the moment it seems even a Casio £10 watch can get you robbed by the scooter brigade)

That has to be one of the three ugliest things I have ever seen. I would not accept money to wear it.

And who wears watches any more these days?

When you can charge £175k for an obsolete device (clockwork watch). Then you know the world has gone a little nuts.

On the other hand, I dig the whole retro, automata, clockwork vibe. And I think the design is pretty unique.

Pity its so vastly over priced though, still....

Notice the kind of Sir Johnny Ive type DOF, engineering , with explanation. Apple Apple Apple...

To that end, why does a an iWatch costs, intrinsically, about £250, and yet most models cost £800+ ? Its the strap your paying a fortune for, not the actual "watch". Now that really is sad.

It's not necessarily obsolete. Luxury mechanical watches retain their value better than many other things like TVs, PCs, Cars which depreciate quickly.

£175k is a helluva lot of money though, so be careful that it's not overvalued. I would never spend that much on a luxury mechanical watch. There are very nice mechanical watches for a few thousand.
