There are two reasons why I will not touch multi crew. A. the Payout is cheap and it is far more profitable to work alone. and B. Noobs who enter my ship start shooting authorities and bailing at last min. ( I have not experienced this but I have heard a lot of complaints of this in the Horizon discussion) The very risk of this alone is a deterrent as I am not particularly fond of continuously paying for a 13M credit ship for 'LOLs'
To Fix the latter I thought of a solution, Rouge labelling of crew members.
At present it seems that the Captain of the vessel is at a disadvantage.. his/her ship, reputation and NPC crew are all on the line with MC members. IF a MC crew member decides to hit and assault targets it is ultimately the Commanding player who suffers with no loss to MC members as they can coward their way out of it.
To turn the table a bit, the captain has the option to label His/her crew members as 'Rouge' when bounties occur. this immediately deducts any future pay and any bounties created by that crew member through turrets/fighter are transferred to him/her alone... authority vessels cease fire and if the MC member continues to fire at them the commander has the option to Flag them so that other commanders are aware of this MC members behaviour. excessive flagging of commanders will result in a ban from MC for up to a week...this will but the commanders back in command. if you do MC then do so at your own risk, don't drag others down with you!!!
