Ok sorry this is off game but recent developments in another game I play have enraged me so much I feel I need to warn other gamers to stay away from this gaming company and its products.
for three and a half years I've played a game called The Infinate Black by a company called SPELLBOOK it's toted as a brutal PvP MMO and for the most part it is but over the years a large proportion of its player base have developed a love for playing the PvE side of the game more than the PvP (ahhh now u see it's the old PvP v PvE argument). As the game had four servers to play on it pretty much accomodated the different playing styles except those non PvP players were seen as and treated as second class citizens on the three lesser servers.
A few months a go the Devs proposed merging three of the servers and though many had misgivings these were put aside for what was seen as the greater good of the game but now it's been shown that this was never the intended outcome, what was actually planned was a full merger of all the servers. So why the warning
well for four months Spellbook blatantly lied to its players taking tens of thousands of pounds off them for in game content with no intention of carrying out its promises.
this same company has just launched a kick starter for a new game and again it has just taken tens of thousands of pounds from players offering them rewards to use in TiB a game they will no longer find playable.
So my warning to all on here is HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE COMPANY SPELLBOOK AND SPREAD THE WORD THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED
