Parks A work in progress Alpha 2.0 park

I wanted to share this video with you guys, this is a park I started work on this morning.

I have to admit, I'm not as good as the likes of Silvarret or other YouTuber's who create immense structures with the modular building system, but I like to think I put in a lot of detail into my parks.

This is a work in progress - originally intended to be a new Speed Build video, but I had my first crash to desktop whilst recording the first part today.

I still have the video, but I'm unable to open the file - if I can fix it I'll definitely be going ahead with the other videos.

Hope you like it!

Love this so much, can see all the joy in your park just coming through so well in the video.
I must ask, how do you get your camera movements so smooth? I've resorted to simple photos on the forums to showcase my parks but I would love to put it into a video like yours, I feel photos can't really do justice the kind of feelings you get from an amusement park.
Anyway, thanks for sharing, this looks beautiful.

Thanks guys!

About the camera movements - some of them are cinematic cameras on the rides - others like the panning shots around the vertical drop coaster is the free look camera with a steady hand [big grin]

It takes two or three attempts to get those manual shots right to be honest - I just hope Frontier add custom camera animations as they built into RCT3 :)

Ah thanks dude, I've been used to the Custom Camera for so long I'm just so useless with camera pans. I've found reducing the sensitivity down to zero on the controls does help but I just have no control over my movements unlike you. You should be a darts player perhaps? [squeeeeee]
I'd wish they'd add a camera mechanic like RCT3 but perhaps one that's a bit easier to use but the Devs are working on so many things right now I wouldn't blame them if they don't manage to make one in time.

I am unfortunately deadly with Darts in my hand [haha]

Some of those shots took three or four tries to get the right look - sometimes the camera would pass through a tree right at the wrong moment or I'd be centring the camera on the wrong object.

This game though; game of the year, am I right?!

For sure, the game we've all been waiting for! But the community has got to be one of the best ever, some of the things people have made with so little is insane. I try my best, but I always feel there is so much more potential in the game we just haven't unlocked.
Perhaps there's a cheat code for creativity? [squeeeeee]

I think the most impressive thing when designing a world around a theme park in these sims is to make it look like the park was instead, built into the world.
Although wonderful to see, not every park needs to reinvent the wheel with grand structures to be great. Believability, effort and a good eye for detail can mean so much.
I can tell you have gone down at eye level a lot and checking all the angles making sure it looks right to the guests.
its great!
