Newcomer / Intro Aaarrgh annoyed...

So a few weeks ago I found a nice high tech system with nearby agriculture, refinery and industrial systems. Its nearby but not on the doorstep of central imperial space. Perfect I thought. I spent the last weeks small time trading, doing missions etc in my cobra and have become allied with them all. I found a nice four way trade route which would bring in 3000cr per ton for a 20 minute round trip.

So today I return to the game after a two week absence (damn full time work and school holidays!) thinking I'll recheck my route upgrade to a T6 and start making some serious credits.

But wait...why is there only 8t of palladium available? Maybe a glitch, I'll fill up on silver to top up the cargo hold. I return to my high tech system to discover that I only made 300cr/t profit on my palladium instead of the usual 1000.

Gutted. Someone must have found mylittle route and filled the demand.

So annoyed.

Any idea when it might return to normal or am I best moving on a bit further to the edge of populated space?

I'm going to jump in the viper and take my anger out on some pirates...

Yes absolutely it's better to find a trade route on the edge of populated space that way the chance of other people discovering your good route is much less and you can therefor keep the profit to your self... :) And that is why you also shouldn't tell anybody where you found it at least not here on the forum only via PM to a very few people and they must also not tell it to anybody...

Good thing btw. to take your agression out on some NPC pirates :D And if you find a system with a RES nearby a station you can actually make much more credits doing that than trading it should be possible to make 1-2 mio/hour credit in a RES doing BH...

Anyway fly safe Cmdr and heads up and watch you six out there...
