Goes to show what a pressing issue it is.
Almost like it's a sign that people like playing WITH people as much as (more than?) AGAINST them.
I'm confused what any of this means at this point, I spent last 2 days trying to convince people to respect each others opinions and methods of play be them good guys or bad guys as they desire, but was told to shut up
Apparently this is resolving issues more effectively somehow
You and your reasoned approach to discussions about shared digital entertainment pastimes. Don't you know how incredibly serious and important this is? Common human courtesy be damned, this is Pretend Spaceman we're talking about here!
Donald Trump as a moderator would solve this issue in 2 seconds

Very true, I can see it now.

Trump: "And I will make Frontier Development pay for it!"
Fdevs : "... how do you declare bankruptcy under your sovereignty, president Trump?"

It just came to me. We can build a wall between solo and open. People wanting to come to open from solo have to pay a board flipping tax each time they cross. This will fund the wall, keep more people in open, and provide jobs.
Christmas is a time for people to enjoy themselves and be entertained. The forums deliver!
Are you getting the hint yet?
Abandon hope, all ye who want this to be a pvp arena . It aint.
All I want personally is a universe with many players where both good and bad things can happen just like in the real life, giving us opportunity to overcome them, especially when all the necesary tools to do so come pre-included in the package.
Then you also need a universe where bad things can and do happen to gankers and pk-ers in high security systems. Right now gankers and pk-ers ARE the bad things,
And I think a statement "there is no point playing open unless u have PVP build is also monotone"
Miners and traders should be vulnerable traveling, they should employ escorts, mercenaries, for their protection, take less obvious routes and stay undetected, also learn to silent run and mod their ships to not get blown up instantly uppon interdiction.
Honestly this whole PVE group mentality boils down to simply refusing to engineer, and proteting engineers in general, have you ever thought about that?
I dont think any engineered trading / mining ship can even get killed in a gank without having more than 90% chance to slip the attacker
