So, there are those missions where you get an "abandon mission" update. The problem is, that those updates take away the possibility of really abandon a mission in such manner, that it gets removed from the mission list. I am forced to go to the corresponding system and claim the "abandon" mission reward - which might be contrary to my faction goals - or I have to live with month-old mission entries cluttering up my mission list.
IMHO this is due to a faulty UI and/or mission design which allows such deadlock situations, but which should be very easily fixable, by removing those abandon updates and replacing them by a simple mission goal update of going to the station. Or there should be some kind of "Remove mission" control in the UI.
