Abhorrent VR requirements

I'm on a 660ti and It runs my oculus relatively fine.

Also star citizen is going to be heavily pay to win.

Imagine if all the ships in ED were purchasable with real money thats Star Citizen.

As it stands, I get 75fps on low settings with 1.5 ss on most planets surfaces with a single gtx670..yup, you read that right. I'm only running pci-e 2.0. my CPU is an old 2nd gen i7 3820 oc'd to 4.4ghz atm and my ram is sitting at a normal 1600 mhz. If I want to boost the pretty, I just turn on my other 670 at the cost of (slightly) increased latency. I'm really curious to know why (it seems) older high end hardware does a better job than the new stuff. I've had my DK2 for a little over a year and the only performance problems I've had were game/software related. I use the ort 0.6 on W7 x64 ultimate...I wonder if my OS version makes a difference..I wouldnt be surprised if my rig could handle the CV1(low quality) with the help of some advanced overclocking.
