Ability to recruit NPC crew member(s) when inside a station.

It would be nice if I could walk up to an NPC in the bar of a station and offer them a job as a crew member as they seem to be somewhat more "normal" looking than the NPC's you see in the "Hire crew" window that's available when docked with a ship. Also it would be even better if I could assign that NPC as a some sort of private taxi/co-pilot that can fly the ship to and from way-points that I've set up beforehand like the apex taxi service so I can focus on other things while NPC does the driving.

I like this idea. How hard would it be to replace some of the NPCs in the bar with crew to hire.

Only issue I immediately see is that the Crew Lounge board is a very ephemeral thing, if the NPCs are generated per instance and not per client, that means they would have to resolve issues that would arise, like multiple people hiring the same NPC.

Are you making this suggestion, based on who looks the least hideous of the NPCs - those in the crew lounge, or in the bar?
