So I really love the whole 1000 LY flight plan in ED it makes things much easier. The only issue I have is that if you get disconnected or log out you have to re plot your flight path, It would be nice if they introduced the ability to save your flight path so that its still there when you log in. You can either choose to clear it or plot a new one once you log back in if you don't want the same one.

I've mentioned this a few times in other threads and as far as I know, it's never been possible to save a plotted route since the game first started. Saving a plotted route seems like a fairly basic thing to include, so I'm not sure if it's been overlooked by Frontier, or if there's some technical reason why they can't do it, or if they have another reason for not doing so. I may well have missed it if they have spoken about it, but I haven't seen anyone from Frontier mentioning it anywhere so far.
(EDIT) I'm talking about the fact that plotted routes are always lost after a save and exit, but it would also be nice if there was an ability to save them separately, as in , say, favourite trade routes mentioned by Belan.
