... I am sure that it is really cool to know how he pronounces the name of Patreus or knowing about Brian's rofling, but there were some serious and pertinent questions. I was expecting a bit more that 50 answers, specialy when the half are useless or off topic. I feel a bit abused, but hell, what did I expect actually lol.

Be realistic a second and stop trolling behind your screen, who cares about how you pronounce Patreus or about Brian's ROFL ? Two pertinent questions could have been picked instead of thoes two things, so yes, I am upset becous there were true questions and good question, picking these are a lack of respect to me.

I agree.

There are a lot of useless questions and only a couple of them regarding the real space simulation.
DB answer that there is already now something to be found on the deeper space, but honestly, I'm finding this hard to believe; especially after the high effort that FD spent to add an useless politic layer to the game that will be appreciated only by those requesting for PVP opportunities.
And all this stuff should be exiting...

Happy to find someone else disappointed from 1.3

PS: this evening I read the Galnet news about the Sagit A* run... I immediately cry "wow something interesting...", but when at Galileo station I realized that this was only an activity not directly connected with the game, with no effects for the player.
Anyway these was my expectations from 1.3 after all the raiser hype!!

Glad to see that at least someone is able to answer a different way that just trolling, I lost hope on this forum. But actually I am not disappointed by the 1.3 patch, only by the way Braben handled the Question AMA, do it right or do nothing...

Its just a GAME get over it. And David is a person like everyone else so he has his weaknesses - he answered a few questions but was obviously only prepared to answer ones on Powerplay for this AMA. Nothing wrong with that. The fact is he did say a few interesting things like there is something hidden in deep space, that criminal behaviour will be addressed soon, and that Powerplay will bring new weapons and equipment choices.

Oh boy........ look the reason they don't answer everything is either because they haven't decided on it yet or because they want to hold it back for a future announcement. The trick is to always leave your audience wanting more. But i guess you're like one of those kids who wants to know what's in their present before Christmas day!

Yeah, and he is Frontier's CEO, sorry, but your excuse is a no to me. As CEO, he has some obligations and I feel abused by the way he handled the Question AMA, not at all that I am frustrated that my questions did not get picked, just that some questions had nothing to do here as it was a 1.3 POWERPLAY AMA.

those asking for useless details like name pronunciation, will be the same people that, after having discovered that the game is still boring with the PP layer, will start to kill players from other factions for the pleasure to do it.
PVP is goog for game like GTA, not for space simulation. Here we need a solid, complex and scripted mission system; something that incentive you to do 1000 LY to discover what is awaiting you.... like it was the main FFE storyline

the game, with PP, is actually providing a way for incentivate PVP. Other aspects are secondary; it is clearly evident from DB answers.

The last hope is that the new mission system will be used for making something interesting, but at the moment there are too many people becoming happy for being able to open fire to anyone else.

Right, I paid 60 bucks for his game but the totally has no obligation.
