About Exploration and "Horizon"

As usual, it's not precise.

For the first loot, ok, everybody will loot 1 of all per account.

And after, I earn the same amount of "XP" per rock looted, and I think based on the quality.
And I just land on a planet to earn more? Or More I drive on the planet and more I earn?
Have I to back to a station to earn more? Or it's add in real time?

Seriously, why the      Braben don't REALLY explain how it work? It's so hard ? o_O

Anyway, IDK if you can answer, but thanks for quote and sources !

Exploration experience goes up in realtime from srv driving. It's been mentioned in a few threads plus I saw my own % go up 2 or 3% without going back to the bubble. Materials are same. It's the system scans you need to go to a station to sell.

This.

Since it is added in real time, you don't lose it if your ship blows up prior to getting to a station. I haven't seen any additional exploration credits from planetary exploration when selling data at a station so I don't think it's more but yes, just by driving, you can (very slowly) gain more exploration data.

When 2.1 hits and it spawns a crafting material "gold" rush then exploration and landing on planets will become more important.

I spent two or so weeks in an SRV collecting 299 materials for an exploration trip... It's something I'd never wish to repeat given how vapid/dull/repetitive it was...
