Someone told me that passengers misions comunes forma Explorer ranks. Someone can tell me if it is true and hoy it works? Thank you.

it does work via mission payout, like trade missions add to your trade rank.

so yes, it is true.

pick up a sightseeing mission, play it, hand it in, see your exploration rank increase. there is no need to leave the bubble for it.

Yeah, if you have a bubble "explorer" with luxury cabins, Orca or Beluga, you can stick around a wealthy system until you're allied with all, and you'll quickly get those 157.5M worth of "exploration rank" done with a handful VIP mini tours.
They'll reduce the influence of those to 20% come the 2.3 update. Which I personally think is still way too much.

FD reduced the payout for passenger missions. So if your rank increase is based on how much you make on the mission don't bother.
