About the cluster of Blue stars that can be seen behind the Omega Nebula

We at the Distant Worlds 2 Squadron were talking about the cluster of blue stars that can be seen from behind the Omega Nebula as seen from the Omega Mining Station, and while talking we notice that the Cluster still doesn't have a name.

So we decided to name it Blue Lights Path, A.k.a. Steve.

Steve's backdrop on the nebula looks incredible by the way.

So yeah, let's share pictures of Steve.

Are those the 2MASS stars?

If you zoom in on the galaxy map they are in a nice ordered grid, which is an artefact of them being imported from a real stellar survey. There's a more detailed discussion in this thread, where one of the posters called them the "River of Dreams".

No, the river of dreams is much farther away. Here is a picture of the river of dreams, with a bookmark showing Omega.
