What is the benefit of having more than one of these fitted, does it release more chunks when you hit a deposit, just curious?

Other than increase your hit probability? Nothing. All it does is knock off deposits and kill limpets.

There is a bug with the abrasion blaster. The more you have the more chunks each target gives you. I think the max is five. Now considering two abrasion blasters gives you roughly 20 million credits per asteroid, 5 blasters takes things beyond ludicrous.

Tbh I am kinda glad current earnings are down to a bug. I am pulling in 200+ mill per trip, is definitely feeling too good to be true, although it does feel like I am working for my credits.

It only releases more chnks when the blasters all hit the deposit at the same time. So you need to aim at it from directly above it. Any angle and one blast hits before the other.

Funnily with 3 abrasion I only ever see a max of two chunks - and never from directly above - I have to hit them side on to get the multiple - from above only 1. i'm tempted to go back to just 1 and see what happens from the side.
