Abrassion blaster not working !

Hi folks, I'm in a middle of a little crisis here.

You see I just blasted to bits an opal filled asteroid, and was quite happy collecting all the chunk.

Until....

The abrasion blaster for some reason decided to go on a strike !

I made sure that my wep pips are full, but the damned thing refuses to shoot !

It just makes the charging sound and then nothing !

What am I doing wrong wrong ?

I've been holding the trigger button for literally a minute and nothing happens.

Yianniv, there's no ammo for the abrassion blaster, its ennergy bassed, so infinite ammo as long as you have pips in wep.

Believe me if it was this simple I wouldn't be posting in the forums.

PS :

I think I found the problem.

My problem is the ship that I'm using, the T-10. The hardpoint placement makes it so that unless the distance between the deposit and my ship is not between a certain range, the abrasion blaster won't shoot for it is beyond its fire arc or obscured by the ship.

I'll try swapping around the blaster on another hardpoint.

I was having problems with abrasion blasters the other day in my krait mk2

only 2 of the 4 were firing, i tried enabling and disabling them in the modules panel but still couldn't get all 4 to fire at once, was very odd, i have oodles of power. infact my whole set-up, everything fully turned on only uses half my power capacity.

I could only get 2 to fire, was very weird, i need to log back in and have another go.

OP. Try what I do. I put the pulse wave on ever single hardpoint as a Secondary. Then each other has its own hardpoint. So the collect number 1, prospect 1, abrasion 1 and so on. This actually works better for me and I can single out the hardpoints this way but always keeping the pulse active on 2

Yeah, it seemed like you had it working and everything was good, so it really was a bit of a mystery...
Not having clear firing angle makes sense... II was wondering what it was, lol...
