Elite / Frontier Absolute peak

Really dumb question I know, but it has been bugging me all day.

We know that Reidquat is a very dangerous system in FE2; but is it the MOST dangerous? Is there a worse place to be?

Don't know the answer to your question but the way the game works there are probably a handful of systems which are equally dangerous. Reidquat being a special system though may have been tweaked to make it the baddest place in the galaxy.

The single hairiest trip I ever took was to the Zearla[-5,1] system. Been there several times and it was usually a scrap but not out of the ordinary. On this occasion it was as if the NPC generator had gone haywire. Must have fought 30+ ships including a viper carrying an energy bomb. Normally only assassination targets carry those. Got in a rare battle with three attackers at once too.

I don't think I've ever been to the Lave area in FE2:eek: keep meaning to go, I hear it's nice.

Vague memory, but I seem to remember Phekda was a real "charming" system. Good for inflating the rating, but endless, tiresome attacks.
Also, where you thought it shouldn't be as infested, Alioth and Vega.

I didn't visit those one-planet stars that often, but wasn't all of them really nasty? Maybe Lave was a little "quieter". But yes, Riedquat was probably high up there. Got sick of all the killing... With that rate I'm surprised anyone is alive in the Old Worlds by 3300.

Hmm, thank you for the suggestions; I am off for an explore.
It seems Reidquat has got a little low on pirate recently, I can't imagine why...

I also didn't visit old worlds much:
1 planet + 1 star = boring, so for me Phekda is pretty much *THE* anarchy.
